Police Find Twinsburg Man Dead in Apartment

Man's body was found, but police don't believe any foul play was involved

On Friday, Feb. 11, a relative called police worried about  86-year-old Frank Schnieringer, of Twinsburg, when no one had heard from him in over a month.

When police went to Schnieringer's Presidential Road home, they saw the mailbox was full, the back door hanging open with the screen door locked, and snow piled up in front of the garage door.

When no one answered the door, police forced their way in and found Schnieringer lying face down in the laundry room, dead. They didn't see any signs of injury or trauma.
