Police: Naked Streetsboro Man Punched Wife at Blue Top Motel

A Streetsboro man is accused of punching his wife, with two children in the room at the on Ravenna Road on June 8.

The man, 28, was charged with domestic violence and had a temporary restraining order signed against him.

According to the victim, she was visiting a friend and got back to the motel around midnight. As she tried to go to the bathroom, her husband laid in front of the door, not letting her pass.

After asking him several times to move, according to the report, he got up and punched her in the side of the head. She told police he had been violent towards her before and he was drunk that evening.

When police arrived she told them what happened and they found the man lying in the bed naked. Police said "two small children were laying on the floor" also.

He refused to get out of the bed when asked, because he was nude. Officers arrested him and "gave him a pair of pants."

Police said they saw a large, red mark on the left side of the victim's head. The report did not indicate if she was treated for her injury.
