Police Officer Catches Wanted Man After He Flees On Foot

A Twinsburg Police officer recognized a wanted man at a gas station and eventually caught him after the man fled the area on foot.

On Jan. 21 just before noon, a police officer pulled into a gas station on Hadden Road when he recognized the driver of a Dodge Neon as a man wanted by the department and who had a suspended license, according to the police report.

The man fled on foot, but was caught later at a restaurant across the street.

The man had active warrants with Twinsburg Police and the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

He was taken to the Solon jail and, in addition to his warrants, charged with driving under suspension and obstructing officials business.
