Sports Bar Brawl Sends Cleveland Man to Hospital

The 24-year-old man was attacked after he was escorted out of the restaurant for picking fights with people

One Cleveland man may have picked one too many fights at a Twinsburg sports bar.

On May 15 Twinsburg police were called out to the on East Aurora Road for a fight in the parking lot. When they got there, they saw a large crowd arguing and a man on the ground bleeding from his mouth.

The 24-year-old Cleveland man said that he was jumped by several guys who busted out his teeth. He told police they punched him in the face and kicked him while he was on the ground.

Officers questioned two men who, witnesses said, might have been involved, but both said as they were walking out they saw the Cleveland man knock over a female friend as he pushed her through the crowd. Police noted in the report there were no marks or cuts on their hands.

A Scorchers employee said the victim was escorted out of the bar for picking fights with several people inside. When he started to push back, other people got involved.

However, because all the witnesses had too much to drink, no one could point out who was responsible. The victim was taken to Bedford Hospital for two missing teeth and a broken nose.
