Stolen Wallets, iPods, and a Car: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department

Macedonia man told a patrolman in the parking lot of the his wallet was stolen while he was playing basketball on Dec. 5, at 5:39 p.m.

A Woodland Court woman told police on Dec. 8 at 1:14 p.m. that prescription medicine was stolen from her home earlier that week.

The mother of an student told police on Dec. 8 at 2:32 p.m. her son's iPod was missing from an unlocked locker inside the locker room of the middle school during his wrestling match.

On Dec. 10 at 1:17 a.m. police found an abandoned car on I-480 at Chamberlin Road. The plates on the car were stolen and officers arrested the car's owner walking down Chamberlin Road. He was charged with driving under suspension and receiving stolen property.

A Pinebark Place man told police his van was stolen from his driveway some time between Dec. 10 and Dec. 11. The owner told police when he found his car was gone, he saw another car, empty, sitting across his driveway. Police called the owner of the other car who told them it had been stolen.
