Student Found With Knife After Making Threat at High School

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

A Twinsburg High School student told the student resource officer he overheard a threat toward another student on Sept. 3.

He said he heard another student talk about having a knife on him and that he was "going after" another student.

The officer found the 14-year-old student who was accused of making the threat and found a pocket knife on him.

The student admitted he did make those statements. He was released to his mother and will be referred to to the Twinsburg Juvenile Diversion Program as well as school-specific consequences.
