Tallmadge Man Drives Drunk, Wrong Way: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not mean a conviction.

It doesn't matter if you drive the wrong way to avoid an accident. If you're drunk, you get busted.

On Sept. 15 police saw several cars driving the wrong way on the I-480 east entrance ramp at State Route 91.

They were trying to avoid slow-moving traffic caused by an accident, but during one of the stops, police smelled alcohol on the driver's breath.

Playground antics

Some kids grow up from playing on the playground to vandalizing it.

Police were called to a playground near Ethans Drive and Covington Lane on Sept. 15 for large amounts of graffiti on the equipment.

Officers saw "vulgar writing" in black and green marker on "almost all" the equipment.

Father uses tough love

A Twinsburg man called police on Sept. 16 because his son was not listening to him.

He told police the son wasn't listening to his rules and wouldn't give back an iPod that he wasn't allowed to have.

The father wanted his son charged and the boy was told he would be charged with unruly juvenile.
