Teen Charged With Assault After School Bus Fight

A Twinsburg teenager faces an assault charge in juvenile court after he started a fight with another teen on a school bus on Feb. 8, according to Twinsburg Police.

The teenager, a 16-year-old Twinsburg resident, is accused of charging and instigating a fight with a 15-year-old teen on a school bus at about 2:19 p.m. on Feb. 8, according to the police report.

Both teens were taken to the Twinsburg Police Department and questioned.

The victim was taken home and the mother of the charged teen was called to pick him up. He will face the assault charge, a first-degree misdemeanor, in Summit County Juvenile Court.

Back in my day (HS 1979-1982), the bus driver simply turned the bus around, went back to school, straight to the Principal's office and we got a SWAT. Maybe re-instituting corporal punishment AND prayer in school would alleviate this stupid little problem.
