Top Stories of 2012: Police Arrest Man After Three-Month Drug Trafficking Investigation

The Twinsburg Police Department concluded a three-month narcotics investigation after arresting a Twinsburg man in August.

Daniel M. Dezort, 20, was arrested at his home on Abrams Drive and charged with multiple counts of felony drug trafficking, according to press a release.

The investigation started in May after police got a tip Dezort was trafficking marijuana. 

After a three-month investigation officers found narcotics, drug paraphernalia and cash inside his home.

"We take drug trafficking very seriously," Chief Chris Noga said. "An arrest like this is taking another supplier off our streets and making them safer."

Detectives believe that Dezort was supplying marijuana to multiple people throughout the Twinsburg area.

Dezort is charged with one count of felony marijuana trafficking (fourth degree), four counts of marijuana trafficking (fifth degree), one count of corrupting another with drugs (felony), one count of underage liquor possession (misdemeanor).
