Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest for Active Warrants

Speeding ticket comes back to haunt a Twinsburg man

Some lessons are learned the hard way.

On Feb. 19 police stopped Antoine Richardson, 23, of Twinsburg for going 55 mph in a 35 mph zone on S.R. 82 at the Macedonia line.

When officers ran his name through the system they found a warrant for failure to pay fines on a prior speeding ticket from Boston Heights Police.

He was arrested and turned over to Boston Heights, but not before he was given another speeding ticket.
