Twinsburg Man Guilty of Downloading, Sharing 'Graphic' Child Porn

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force discovered a 24-year-old Twinsburg man was sharing and downloading child pornography.

Alan D. Christian will be sentenced in September after being found guilty of felonies involving child pornography.

According to the Summit County Prosecutor's office, Christian, 24, of Mallard Cove in Twinsburg was using Limewire, a peer-to-peer file sharing network, to download and share graphic child pornography. 

During an Internet search for child pornography, the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force discovered Christian's IP address. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation searched Christian's computer and found numerous files containing child porn, according to the prosecutor's office. Christian owned the computer and kept it in his bedroom.

Christian pleaded not guilty last April, according to court records. 

He was found guilty Aug. 2 of four counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, felonies of the second degree, and four counts of Pandering Sexually Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, felonies of the fourth degree.

Visiting Judge Robert Brown will sentence Christian on Sept. 16.
