The Twinsburg Police Department added a hometown hero to it's roster last week.
On Thursday Gary Ennis was hired as a part-time officer and sworn in by Mayor Katherine Procop, according to the department's Facebook page.
Ennis retired as a sergeant from the Macedonia Police Department in July 2012 and will now serve the community he grew up in.
