Twinsburg Officer Catches Man Wanted For Assault

A Twinsburg officer on patrol caught a man wanted by Cuyahoga County authorities for assault, according to Twinsburg Police.

The officer was patrolling the Giant Eagle Parking lot when he noticed a van parked at Charter One Bank with its lights on. The officer checked out the van's information, and learned that its owner had a warrant out for his arrest on an assault case from the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office.

The police officer pulled over the driver, who was confirmed to be the owner, Lorenzo Jefferson, 60, of Warrensville.

Jefferson was arrested and taken to the Solon jail.
