Twinsburg Police Receive More Than $430,000 After 2010 Drug Bust

Funds part of $677,000 drug money seizure from 2010 arrest

Twinsburg Police received more than $430,000 this week from cash forfeited in a 2010 drug trafficking conviction, the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Northern District of Ohio reports.

Officers stopped Khalilah Crumpler in a traffic stop in 2010 and discovered that she was wanted on a Mayfield Height warrant.

They arrested her and, in searching her car, found $677,660 in cash that was later seized when a court ruled that the cash was part of a drug trafficking operation.

$432,947 went to the Twinsburg Police Department and $54,880 to the Summit County Prosecutor’s Office.
