Twinsburg Woman Drives Around Parking Lot Before Pulling Over

While it wasn't a high-speed chase, a Twinsburg woman did give police a run through an apartment complex before pulling over on Aug. 24.

Monica Brunn, 38, was charged with speeding and failure to comply, along with driving under suspension.

According to police, Brunn was clocked driving 60 mph in a 35 mph zone on Ravenna Road near Ridgewood Drive. The officer turned on his lights and siren when she turned into the apartment complex and began driving around the parking lot, eventually pulling into a parking spot.

Brunn immediately got out of the car and when she was ordered to put her hands on her head and turn around, began pacing around and "not complying" with the officer's orders.

When she was finally put in handcuffs, she was found to be driving under suspension and had a warrant through the Oakwood Police Department for failure to appear on driving under suspension.

She took a sobriety test but did not seem intoxicated.
