Two Men Say Macedonia Man Pulled Gun on Them

The following arrest information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction

A Macedonia man took an argument too far, pointing a gun at two men during an argument on June 28, according to the men.

William Douglas, 53, was charged with two counts of aggravated menacing and using a weapon while intoxicated.

According to the police report, while working on a car at a Shepard Road home, Douglas and another man got into a heated argument over the work they were doing. One of the witnesses said the argument continued into the house, where Douglas went into a room for a moment and came back out.

As the shouting match continued in the back yard, both men said Douglas pulled the gun on one of them, pointing it at his head. When he put it back in his pocket, the two tackled him to the ground and held him there until police arrived.

Officers noted that Douglas appeared to be drunk and had a revolver in his pocket, with three rounds inside.

Once back at the police station, Douglas told police he never pulled the gun out.
