Two area teens were caught with drugs and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on June 14.

Officers spotted a car weaving heavily within the lane as it was going down Darrow Road, eventually pulling into a Hillsdale Drive home.

When police approached the car they found a 17-year-old Northfield boy driving the car and a 16-year-old Twinsburg boy in the passenger's seat. Police noticed the driver's eyes were red and glossy, but he denied having anything to drink that night.

Another officer was talking to the passenger when he caught the scent of marijuana. The driver said he had nothing illegal in the car, but told the officers he smoked weed in the car from time to time.

When police looked through the car, they found two duffel bags. One, owned by the Twinsburg boy, had three bags of marijuana inside with "a glass smoking device." He said he was "fronted" the weed and said it was worth $350.
