Unbuckled Driver Leads to Passenger's Arrest

A Bedford man was arrested for an active warrant after police pulled over the car he was riding in

Not only can buckling your seatbelt keep you from getting a ticket, but your friends are less likely to get arrested.

Twinsburg police pulled over a car on Glennwood Drive on April 2 for speeding and because the driver was unbuckled.

The passenger, Clyde Brown, 54, of Bedford, was the one to get into the biggest trouble, however.

Police ran his name and found an active warrant from Crawford County, PA, for failure to appear in court on drug charges.

Brown was taken into custody and the driver was cited for speeding and his seatbelt.
