Vacationing Homeowner Calls Police For Party at His House

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department.

On July 4 got a call from a Forest Lake Drive man who was on vacation with his family in North Carolina.

The man told police his younger brother got a text that there were people partying at his house, but no one was supposed to be there.

Police arrived at the house which had a large number of cars parked outside. According to the report, as they entered through the back door there was no one in the room.

But as they went to the basement they found five people and lots of beer and liquor on the table and what they described as a "water bong."

When backup arrived they found several more people in the house.

According to the report, police spoke to nine total individuals at the party but only four juveniles were cited for drinking and released to their parents. Two were over 18 and cited for underage consumption.

One person told officers that there were around 20 people in the home at one point and several mentioned a text message from a girl telling them about the party, but not to text the person who lived there.

The homeonwer told police his son had not told anyone to come over while they were gone. The house was then turned over to a neighbor until the family got home.
