When the light turns green, it's best to drive.
On Wednesday, April 11 a officer saw a car stopped at a red light on State Route 91. But when the light turned green it sat at the light for about five seconds until the officer honked for the vehicle to go.
That's when the car started weaving. The driver was stopped and charged with drunken driving and cited for weaving.
Don't speed with drugs in the car
Police stopped a car for speeding on I-480 on April 11 when they found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the car. The driver was cited for speed and possession of marijuana and released at the scene.
But the passenger was arrested and charged with felony possession of drugs -- for carrying oxycodone -- minor misdemeanor possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 'rough' picnic
On April 12 a Twinsburg Parks and Recreation employee reported damage to a picnic table at Glen Meadow Park on Glenwood Drive. The damage was worth $200.
It happened on Friday The 13th
During a routine traffic stop on April 13 on I-480 East, officers counducted K-9 sniff was conducted on the car and found postive indications driver's and passenger's doors.
A search of the car recovered a marijuana grinder in the center console and multiple burnt marijuana cigarettes in the glove box. Marijuana pipe screens were recovered in the center console as well.
The man was charged with minor misdemeanor drug abuse and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia.
