Witnesses: Strange Vehicles Seen Near Home Before Burglary

Twinsburg Police are still investigating a burglary on Alger Trail, and the full police report includes more information about what happened.

The homeowners were away on vacation between March 1 and March 10. They returned home to find their home ransacked, including their pantries opened and food scattered in the kitchen, dressers opened in bedrooms and the master bedroom was "ransacked."

The homeowners told police that it appears some of their jewelry was missing, but a complete inventory of missing items has not been filed yet with the police.

Police believe the burglers entered through the front door, which was kicked in, according to the police report.

Neighbors interviewed by police said they noticed a white van or a white SUV parked in front of the house and that the car was out of place in the neighborhood.

Another neighbor told police that he heard a loud crash come from that house on March 5.
