Woman Arrested for Drunken Driving, Speeding: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On Feb.25 a officer saw a car speeding over I-480 heading west. He turned and followed the car and saw it was weaving. After stopping the driver, she was arrested and charged for speeding, weaving, drunken driving and high blood-alcohol content, after she blew a .233 during a breath test.

On Feb. 24 officers stopped a car for a traffic violationand subsequently arrested and charged with the driver for speeding, possession of marijuana, and two counts of drug paraphernalia, and underage prohibitions. A juvenile occupant was charged with possession of marijuana and curfew.

On Feb. 26 police responded to the for a theft from a car, which occurred sometime between the 4:30 p.m. the day before and 8:30 a.m. that morning.

On Feb. 26 officers responded to the 1600 block of Pinebark Place for a noise complaint. They found three individuals in a hot tub. A juvenile was charged for underage consumption. Another woman was charged for providing alcohol to an underage person, and another underage girl was cited for underage consumption.

On Feb. 27 police were dispatched to a Darrow Road business for a the theft of a Ford van and enclosed trailer from the parking lot.

On Feb. 29 police were called to a Ravenna Road gas station for a report of an drunk female sitting in her car. The woman, a Twinsburg resident, was sitting in her running vehicle and later arrested for physical control of a car. She was transported to the Cleveland Clinic after stumbling and falling against a wall, and complaining of a possible head injury.
