Woman Caught With Weed in Her Bra: The Blotter

The following information was provided by the Twinsburg Police Department

On Dec. 23 a Ravenna woman was taken to the for processing of a failure to appear charge. During a search, a dispatcher found a baggy of marijuana hidden in her bra. The woman was charged with drug possession.

On Dec. 23 officers were called to an accident on Westwood Drive and found a silver Jeep in the ditch. Ptl. Officers ran the plates and went to speak with the owner who said he didn't know anything about a accident. The officer asked repeatedly about the accident but the owner denied any knowledge and stated that his car was stolen.

A little more investigating revealed it the owner was lying and was driving the vehicle. He was arrested for obstructing official business. The male was charged with obstructing official business, failure to control, and leaving the scene of an accident.

On Dec. 26 at officers responded to the on Ravenna Road, for a report of a fight involving 10 adults. Officers spoke to the two main people involved in the fight as well as a worker from the fitnesscenter. One of the men involved did have a cut over his left eye that required medical attention. However, there were conflicting versions as to the events that led to the fight and officers were not able to view surveillance video at time of call. Investigation into this incident is ongoing.

On Dec. 28 the police got a report of a truck pulling a trailer with no tail lights or brake lights and something sparking underneath. Officers located the truck and trailer on SR 82 heading west near Canyon Falls. The driver was found to have an outstanding warrant with Walton Hills Police Department for being in contempt of court. He was arrested and transferred over to the WHPD.
