Woman Charged With Child Endangerment

A 28-year-old Hudson woman was charged with child endangering after police found her walking along a dark road with three children in one stroller, according to Twinsburg Police.

On April 19 at about 8:40 p.m., Twinsburg police received a number of calls about a woman pushing a stroller down Enterprise Parkway. Witnesses said a number of motorists almost hit the woman and the stroller because it was so dark.

A Twinsburg police officer and a Summit County sheriff's deputy found the woman. They found three kids, ages one to three, in one stroller. Two of the children were visibly shaking because of the cold, accoridng to the police report.

The woman told the officers she left her home in Hudson and was walking to meet her boyfriend at his work on Highland Road.

Twinsburg EMS was called to check on the children, and the mother was taken to the police station and charged with child endangering. The childrens' father then came and picked up the the children.

The woman is expected at Stow Municipal Court on April 25.
