Bring Your Questions to Tonight's Sunview Drive Improvements Meeting

Tonight Sunview Drive residents can get any of their questions answered about the $1.26 million project starting in February.

City Engineer Amy Mohr said she hopes residents come to tonight's preconstruction meeting to find out what they can expect with the project and when. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the .

"Our goal is to talk to the residents impacted and inform them on what they can expect during this project and to answer any questions they have,” Mohr said.

She said the project would include sanitary and waterline replacements, fixing and replacing storm drains, reconstructing the road as well as sidewalks and aprons affected during the project.

The total cost of the project is $1.26 million, with 50 percent loaned from the Ohio Public Works Department. The city will pay the rest from waterline, sanitary, and capital improvement funds.

Trax Construction Company, of Willoughby, will begin the project in February and is expected to complete the improvements by early September.
