Election 2011: Cuyahoga Valley Career Center Renewal Levy

The issue, which will be voted on by residents on Nov. 8, would continue a current levy for the center

Election Day: Nov. 8

History: This levy has been in existence since 1982, said business manager Paul Smith. The renewal is voted on every five years and brings in nearly $6.2 million each year.

Argument For: The levy, which Smith said provides 42 percent of the center’s funding, won’t raise taxes for voters.
