Meeting to discuss new transportation projects 

A public meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, January 19 at the Richard Howe House located at 47 West Exchange Street in Akron to discuss local and regional transportation issues. 

The Citizens Involvement Committee of AMATS will discuss new projects being considered for inclusion in the Greater Akron area’s Transportation Improvement Program, which lists the highway, transit, and bicycle and pedestrian projects that are scheduled to receive funding through fiscal year 2015.
