As the plans are currently drawn, it won't require purchasing additional property, but will wipe out parking spaces in the back of the lot.

City Engineer Amy Mohr will also discuss plans for a new trail from the Laurel Creek Bridge to Chamberlin Road.

Mohr said the 1,000 foot trail would tie into the sidewalk and help residents get to the library and other buildings in the center of town. The trail will have an asphault base and a boardwalk over marsh areas.

Mohr said she hopes to have a cost estimate on the project at Monday's meeting.

The other issue at the public hearing will be for a new, eight-car parking lot for the Hickory Trail and Center Valley West near Warren Parkway.

Mohr said plans include a paved driveway with a gravel lot. The project estimate is around $35,000.
