READ: Twinsburg's $3 Million Grant Application

The city is applying for a $3 million grant to prepare the former Chrysler stamping plant for new business

Twinsburg is holding a public hearing Thursday night to keep residents updated on a $3 million grant officials are applying for from the Clean Ohio Revitalization Fund.

The grant would help the city cover costs to complete "remediation and demolition activities at the 167-acre CornerStone Business Park," the application states.

By transorming the old Chrysler stamping plant property to appeal to new businesses, the city hopes the site will "become the new cornerstone of commerce in Twinsburg."

CornerStone already has a , moving its business from Dutton Drive in Twinsburg, investing nearly $10 million.
