SR 91 Construction 80 Percent Complete, Finished By Early July

The $938,000 project will add left turn lanes for north and southbound traffic.

Road construction at State Route 91 and Creekside Drive could be finished as early as next week, according to City Engineer Amy Mohr.

It's probably about 80 percent complete," Mohr said. "There are still a number of things to do."

The project is an intersection improvement for left turn lanes both north and south on Darrow Road. The project costs $938,000, of which the city is paying $438,000. The rest is covered through state funding.

At its earliest the project may be finished before July 4, however, crews will still need to install sidewalks along the road as well as new permanent traffic signals and camera sensors, which could prolong the process by a week or so.

Once that is finished, Mohr said the Ohio Department of Transportation is planning a paving project for Darrow Road from Twinsburg Township to Post Road in 2015.
