Statement: After 40 years of a successful management career, I retired in 2007 as the Manager of Procurement and Material Control. I also worked 14 years as the Manager of Purchasing for a Power System Group. I am currently working part-time consulting as a Project Manager.
In early 2008, I was elected President of Twinsburg City Council. Over the years I have served as Chairman of the Finance Committee 5 years). I also served as an appointed member of the Twinsburg Capital Improvements Board prior to my service on council in 2003.
Throughout the years I have taken an active role in the community:
- Served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Purchasing Managers
- Volunteer Fireman and EMT
- Past member of Jaycees
- Explorer Advisor, as well as past Boy Scout myself
- Coached boys baseball and girls softball
- Active in Relay for Life
The dynamics affecting our community today have compelled me to take an active role in helping shape our community for present and future generations. I am committed to making Twinsburg the “community of choice” for families, as well as business and other organizations. My family and I are long-term residents of Twinsburg (31 years); I am married and have three children, as well as four grandchildren.
