Twinsburg Seniors Taking Advantage of City's Lifeline Service

Enrollment in the program has doubled in the past year.

Many senior residents have been enrolling in the city's Lifeline service which rolled out more than a year ago.

Laura Seifer, the senior center coordinator, said around 32 are in the program which costs the city $700 each month.

That number has more than doubled from 15 this time last year.

"Seniors have been calling, signing up for this program as fast as they can," Seifer said.

The program aims to insure that emergency services are immediately alerted if something happens to a senior resident.

To enroll residents should visit the Senior Center website or call (330)-963-8722
