VIDEO: Police Officers Sworn In to New Roles

Three officers were sworn in at Tuesday night's City Council meeting

At Tuesday night's City Council meeting, Mayor Katherine Procop had the honor of swearing in three officers to the Twinsburg Police Department.

Both Victoria Miavitz and Eric Hendershott were sworn in as new officers, and Mark Kreiger is now a police sergeant.

Miavitz is only working part-time at the Twinsburg department, but is also working for Sagamore Hills Township and Glenwillow police departments.

Hendershott has worked part-time for the department for the past year, working the jail and prisoner transports.

Kreiger has served the department working as a patrol officer and a narcotics investigator in the detective bureau.

"I am very pleased to see him promoted to sergeant," said Police Chief Chris Noga. "He brings great enthusiasm to the patrol division and a strength of leadership that I think will serve us all well."
