All Homecoming Attendees Passed Breathalyzer Test

Students may have to pass a breathalyzer before entering and leaving school dances.

A alcohol breath test may be a permanent requirement for Twinsburg High School students before entering dances, reports the Twinsburg Bulletin.

The district used a breathalyzer for students as they entered and left the homecoming dance, where officials said 100 percent of students passed, according to the Twinsburg Bulletin.

"The kids handled it very well," Principal Louise Teringo told the paper. "With prom, you always worry because they often have after-parties. This helped in sending a message."
