Bissell Elementary a Semi-Finalist for Makeover Contest

If you've ever thought could use a little color, here's your chance to make it happen.

Bissell, along with Archbishop Lyke School and Clark K-8 school in Cleveland, was selected by the Cleveland Cavavliers and Lake Erie Monsters for the chance to have a classroom, hallway, gymnasium or other space repainted by Glidden Paint in the Colorful Community Contest.

Now it's time for the community to select the winner.

The schools will compete through online voting to win a colorful facelift for their school. Fans can go to www.cavs.com/community and www.lakeeriemonsters.com to view each school’s submission and show support for the most deserving school by voting, which began March 19 and runs through March 30.

The project is designed to help upgrade the facilities where school children learn by making them fresher, brighter and more colorful.
