District Goals, Residency Topics at Tonight's School Board Meeting

The Board of Education is switching things up tonight and taking the regularly scheduled meeting to .

While there are the typical agenda items, there will be a few topics of discussion for the future.

Superintendent Kathryn Powers said she will present five goals she has for the district including financial, curriculum, technology, safety/wellness, and communication. Many of the areas will be audited districtwide to see how effective they are and what can be done better, Powers said.

Another topic of discussion will be about the possible hiring of a residency officer to make sure that students are enrolled properly and that a family's residency is proven, Powers said.
