Gary Sorace, who retired from employment with Twinsburg Schools last year, is back helping the school district on a temporary basis.
Sorace, also a member of Twinsburg City Council, was formally appointed as an interim assistant principal at Dodge Intermediate School on Wednesday night at the school board meeting. Sorace started working on March 1.
He will be paid $345 per day, according to district information.
Sorace is helping the district since Dodge's principal, Barb Werstler took a temporary district office job, leading the assistant principal, Douglas Higham, to fill in as principal.
Sorace was an educator for more than 30 years in the Twinsburg Schools before retiring last May.
