Twinsburg Grads Doing Big Things in College

We feature three announcements about three Twinsburg High School graduates

 

Several college students from Twinsburg have been busy making names for themselves.

Nathan Schkurko of Twinsburg, graduated from Youngstown State University in December with a Bach of Science in Applied Sci degree in Civil and Construct Eng Tech B.

In all, nearly 600 students received degrees on the associate, bachelors, masters and doctoral levels.

Two students have been named to the Dean's List at Youngstown State University for the fall 2011 semester:

Leah Love, majoring in Criminal Justice Bachelors, and Amanda Hernandez, majoring in Psychology, both of Twinsburg.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, a student must carry a semester grade point average of 3.4 or better and take a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit.

Youngstown State University is a comprehensive urban research university that offers nearly 15,000 students more than 135 undergraduate and graduate programs backed by a strong tradition of teaching, scholarship and public service.

Jeffrey Koudelka, a freshman undecided major and a resident of Twinsburg, was among the 288 students from Thiel College who were named to the fall 2011 Dean's List. Koudelka has been on the Thiel Dean's List one time.

A student at Thiel College must attain a grade point average of 3.40 on a 4.0 scale while being enrolled full time to be eligible for the Dean's List.

Thiel College is a liberal arts, sciences and professional studies institution located in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
