Twinsburg High Students Win Art Competition

A number of Twinsburg High art students have their works on display this week at Kent State's Stark Campus after they were recognized as part of the Scholastic Arts Competition.

Congratulations to a number of Twinsburg High School art students who were recognized for awards as part of the Scholastic Arts Competition.

The competition is a national art competition with awards given on both regional and national levels.

Gold and Silver Key winners' works of art will be on display at the Kent State Campus Fine Arts Building, Stark Campus until Jan. 30.

All Gold Key winners are automatically entered into the national judging and may be awarded additional recognition.

Gold Key Recipients: Alaynah Carney and Leah Edwards.

Silver Key Recipients: Eric Malmquist, Zach Maund, and Gwen Richner (2 Silver Keys).

Honorable Mention: Adam Christian, Asia Holland, Melissa Linderman, Meredith Nock, Ogechi Mgbudem, Olivia Olivo, Branch Stefon, Harjot Such, Tre'vell Swanson, Kaylin Szydlowski, Olivia Vargo, Sarah Wilkinson, Dylan Wolfe and Gwen Richner. 

Congratulations to these outstanding artists and to their teachers, Sharon Misanko, Julie DiSiena and Cheryl Kozak.
