Twinsburg Superintendent Search Narrowed to Three

Twinsburg Board of Education President Ron Stuver said the board has limited the search to three finalists

Three candidates will interview for the position of superintendent next week. Only one will come out with the job.

The board has trimmed the list of six candidates down to three, for the position left open after Superintendent schools.

  • Kate Foley, the director of student services for the .
  • Mark North, the superintendent of the Lebanon City School District.
  • Kathryn Powers, the human resources director of the .

The board interviewed six candidates on Tuesday and Wednesday and notified them of the decision on Thursday. The three will now go through another interview early next week. Ron Stuver, board president, said while the process was tough, they should have the best candidate hired by June.

"I'm pretty pleased," Stuver said. "All six candiates were good candidates. The differences that separated them were very small. Some have more experience and some have very interesting, visionary ideas and we'ere interested to explore more of that with them."
