Wage Freeze for Central Office Staff to be Discussed Tonight

The Board of Education will vote on a wage freeze for central office staff to help reduce expenditures

The Twinsburg Board of Education will take another step to help reduce expenditures for the 2011-12 school year by voting on a wage freeze for central office employees.

"This is just another step in the process of cost neutralization measures," said Ron Stuver, board of education president.

While the final details of how the state budget will impact the district are not crystal clear, they are taking proactive measures to reduce expenses.

Already the district has frozen administrator salaries and agreed not to fill vacant positions.
