Ashley Morrissette Nominated to McDonald's All-American Game

The Twinsburg girls point guard is one of four nominated from Northeast Ohio.

Twinsburg's Ashley Morrissette was nominated to the 2013 McDonald's All American Games on Thursday.

Morrissette is among 814 high school seniors from around the nation that were nominated for both boys and girls, according to a press release.

The final roster of 24 boys and 24 girls who will be selected to play in the 2013 Games will be announced during the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Show on ESPNU on Feb. 14 at 5 p.m.

Last season Malina Howard was selected for the team and played 14 minutes, scoring two points, five rebounds and two assists.

The Tigers, who stand at 18-0 on the season, are now the 24th ranked team in the country,according to USA Today's Super 25 Girls Basketball rankings.
