The Twinsburg Lady Tigers basketball team is proving itself to be a powerhouse every year.
The Associated Press ranked the Tigers as the top team in the state in the lates poll released on Tuesday.
Twinsburg sits at 13-0 after a win at Shaker Heights on Saturday, 66-33, according to The Plain Dealer.
The schedule does get more difficult, however, as they host North Canton Hoover on Wednesday.
Hoover is ranked seventh in the state and also undefeated with an 11-0 record.
Twinsburg is looking for its third-straight state title this season under the guidance of head coach Julie Solis.
The girls have barely missed a beat without former standout Malina Howard, who graduated last year and is playing for the University of Maryland, ranked No. 10 in the nation.
At Maryland Howard is averaging 23 minutes a game off of the bench, with six points a game and leads the team with 14 blocks this season.
