Another game, and another win for the Twinsburg Tigers.
Twinsburg, which improved its record to 22-0 with a 57-25 drubbing of Warren Harding, seems to have it figured out. The Tigers used multiple scoring runs to create a large lead in the first half, and continued their dominance in the second half to finish with the 32-point victory.
After taking an 8-3 lead in the first period of play, the Tigers created an insurmountable lead in the second quarter when they forced four turnovers, which resulted in eight points at the other end of the floor. Sophomore center Char-dell Dunnigan sparked the Twinsburg offense during this run, scoring eight points. Junior center Malina Howard added six points to the Tigers' offensive effort in the second quarter. Twinsburg outscored Warren Harding 22-6 in the second, and entered halftime with a 30-9 lead.

"The reason we won this basketball game was our defense," said Twinsburg head coach Julie Solis.
The Tigers continued their offensive proficiency in the third quarter, where they outscored the Raiders 16-9. Twinsburg notched six steals and continued to extend the lead in the third. The Tigers headed into the fourth quarter with a comfortable 46-18 lead.

Many of Twinsburg's reserves were substituted into the game in the final quarter, and the Tigers walked away with a convincing victory. Twinsburg tallied a total of 13 steals and forced 26 Warren Harding turnovers.
Twinsburg will face Shaker Heights in tournament play on March 5. Solis was optimistic about her team's chances against the Red Raiders.
"We're just going to put ourselves in the position that we can be successful and move on," said Solis.
