Twinsburg's Barton, Washington Earn All-Ohio Football Honors
Junior quarterback Jalen Washington was named second-team All Ohio with junior running back John Barton
Two of Twinsburg's fiercest Tigers, juniors Jalen Washington and , were named to the Associated press All-Ohio football team.
Washington, the team's starting quarterback, made the second team offense along with his best weapon, Barton, the running back.
The all-state teams are decided by a panel of media members.

Barton, who was also named the co-offensive player of the year in the Northeast Ohio Conference, finished the season with 204 carries for 1,307 yards and 27 touchdowns. .
Washington scorched defenses with 146 completions for 1,850 yards and 13 touchdowns. Washington's quarterback rating was 150.13. Both he and Barton were named first-team InLand All District this season also.

Senior linebacker was an honorable mention for the All-Ohio team after a stellar season where he recorded 72 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
