Twinsburg Wrestlers Compete in Comet Classic Tournament

Twinsburg Tiger wrestlers competed last weekend in the Comet Classic tournament in Solon.

The Twinsburg Tigers wrestling team competed last weekend in the Comet Classic wrestling tournament, placing 13th out of 25 teams.

The team collected 91.5 points and had solid individual performances from three wrestlers.

Tyrone McGuinea took second place in the 152-pound weight class. He was pinned by Anthony Collica, a standout from Solon who was alost named most outstanding wrestler in the tournament.

Jimmy Hiller took third place in the 145-pound weight class, defeating Dan Lynch of St. Ignatius.

Alex Keller advanced to the 3rd place match in the 160-pound category, but was defeated by Painesville Riverside's Jake Denman.
