A Look at Upcoming Events at Twinsburg Public Library

Here are a few fun events scheduled for the next two weeks

The has a plenty of fun events planned for the next two weeks.

Here are a few of them:

  • You'll have two chances to see area teens put on their rendition of "Dogsbreath Devereaux: The Dastardly Doctor or...Nurses! Foiled again," a play written by Bill St. John. Their performances will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. on Friday. The play is produced by Pioneer Drama Service Inc. It involves a man's plan to do away with a rich widow so he will inherit her riches. However Dogsbreath's jealous nurse and accomplice, Hilda Hatchet, catches him flirting, sending the plot into a tailspin.
  • Children of all ages can learn how to create their own superhero on from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. on Aug. 2 at a Kids Korner event. They can consider what their superhero's special powers should be and then create it from the ground. Kids will learn the basics of drawing at this fun workshop. All supplies will be provided.
  • Identical twins Margaret and Katherine King had quite a ride growing in the '50s in Mississippi. They'll share the memories at 4 p.m. Aug. 3 at their event, "Y'all Twins?" The women played their fair share of pranks and once caught a ride with William Faulkner. Copies of their memoir, Y'All Twins? will be available for purchase and signing.
