Bissell Elementary First School in District to Get iPads

Thanks to the PTO, students will have 12 iPads available to them at Bissell.

The Bissell Elementary PTO donated $7,176 which paid for 12 new iPads for teachers and students to use this upcoming school year.

Bissell is the first and only school in the district to have iPads to help with classroom instruction and education.

Half of the money was funds raised by the organization and the other half was from box top donation money.

"Technology is booming right now and to give students the opportunity to experience technology, how to use it ... it's in their every day lives," Principal Misty Johnson said in this Twinsburg Bulletin story. "I think it's going to be wonderful for students to have those experiences. The teachers are really excited about having that opportunity as well."
