Team Hope Walk for Huntington's Disease is Saturday

For the fifth year in a row, Twinsburg will host a fundraiser to help those struggling with a disease that weakens muscle coordination.

The fifth annual Team Hope Walk is happening in Twinsburg Saturday and all of the proceeds will benefit Huntington Disease Society of America's fight to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by Huntington's Disease. 

Huntington's is a neurodegenerative genetic disorder that affects muscle coordination and leads to cognitive decline and psychiatric problems.

Registration, where a morning snack is served, begins at 9 a.m. at Dodge Intermediate School. The cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children 17 and younger. Register by clicking here. A tshirt and lunch is also included.

Each walker is encouraged to raise $100; each team is encouraged to raise $1,000. There will be prizes for the top fundraising corporate team, fundraising team and individual.
