Where the Wild Things are Nature Series: Coyotes of the Cuyahoga Valley

Our top predator, coyotes can be found throughout Ohio. Coyotes 
are adaptable, smart and creatures of the night. Join Marlo Perdicas, 
biologist with Metro Parks, serving Summit County, to learn more about 
how coyotes are living among us.

Lake Erie Wrecks – The Steamer Sun and 7 Discoveries

Mike and Georgann Wachter have been privileged to discover over 25 
shipwrecks in Lake Erie. This program explores how they discovered 
the steamer Sun and examines the wreck in depth. Highlights of seven 
other recent shipwreck discoveries including a rum runner are included!

Mathematics Refresher Course for Adults

Do you need additional Math skills to help pass the GED? Big changes 
are coming to the test in 2014, and the Twinsburg Public Library will 
help you prepare for the Math portion. This class is also open to adults 
who want to rediscover the joys of mathematics or to improve their 
skills. Class meets every Saturday starting October 12th
pm. Space is limited; registration is required.

President Garfield Speaks

Performer Ed Haney will deliver a first person performance as James 
A. Garfield on Sunday, October 13 at 2 p.m.  He will relate the story of 
his birth in a log cabin, raised by his impoverished widowed mother, the 
unsought nomination for the presidency, his brief administration and

Meet First Lady Caroline Harrison

TPL favorite Craig Schermer returns, this time to perform as his 
favorite first lady, on Sunday, October 20 at 2 p.m.  Schermer has 
done extensive research into her life and will deliver her story in a 
mesmerizing full-costume performance.  Please register online or by

the Library.

Kids in the Kitchen

Join us for fall stories and making our own fresh, homemade 
applesauce.  For grades 1-4. Saturday, October 05, 2013 2:30 PM - 
3:30 PM

Halloween Storytelling at the Barn 

Thursday, October 24, 2013. Join us for spooky stories and family 
fun at the Twinsburg Historical Society Barn. Refreshments will be 
provided. Parking is available in the lot behind the barn. Please dress 
for the weather. For children grades K and up. You must register by 
Monday, October 21. 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
